Nativity 4: Mom Feature

The last section of my mom's nativity she made me: the three wise men with their camels.
Nativity from patterns by Sue Cottrell, currently unavailable unfortunately!

Each guy had a lot of fancy trim and detail in their clothing with the same hand sewn noses

Each has their gift of gold, frankincense and myrrh

On to the camels. They are like the donkey and have wire in the legs, so I just bent the green guy into kneel, just because I didn't have room for all three to be standing.
The actual wise men can't sit on or ride these camels, because they don't have legs, but we found at our house, a Woody doll fits perfectly.

That's the end of my mom's awesome nativity.
Merry Christmas!

  2. I am sure Woody makes a perfect addition to the nativity scene. Wasn't there a mention of a cowboy? :)

  3. I love your puzzle and your stuffed nativity! I so need the patterns. Will your momma have the pattern for the stuffed nativity available at some time? I lurk on your blog. I love all the things you make. Your momma and sister and you are so talented. Thanks for sharing your family and blog!----DeeDee
