This was a 15-20 min. project for my little guy for Christmas.
A quick little Woody vest, with the Sheriff star.
Super easy and quick.
Supplies:
cow print fabric 1/3 to 1/2 yard (mine was flannel from Wal-Mart for $1.50/yd)
cow print fabric 1/3 to 1/2 yard (mine was flannel from Wal-Mart for $1.50/yd)
1 package extra wide double fold black bias tape
scrap of yellow felt, fleece, etc
10/29/16 updated link for pattern, the post was 5 years old and some couldn't download, it should work now
Pattern is 2T
I didn't photograph the steps, but it's so easy, I just made this little chart instead.
For my vest, I used yellow sweatshirt fleece left over from the Vermont Jacket.
I used the free motion sewing to sew the "Sherrif RJ" and just straight stitched the edges.
You could always use a fabric pen or hand embroider the text on your star too.
Cheap, easy little vest for those Toy Story fans out there.
Remember you can share any vests you make on the flickr group that is really lame right now, with nothing in it, or you could or email your project: runningscissor@gmail.com
