I recently made a blanket for my friend who's expecting a girl in a few weeks.
These blankets have the holes in the center to allow the car seat straps to go through so it's hooked into your seat with the baby sitting on the blanket so it can't fall out.
The rounded corners act like wings to wrap up the baby.
To make it a little thinner for summer, one side is flannel and the other is cotton. The bias tape on all edges also makes it reversible.
Today is also the first week of May's One Month To Win It competition!

Season 3 starts Monday! Are you all ready to vote?
