I'm actually surprised it's taken me so long to make this pattern, as my blog button features the little wolf and this photo of my son is one of my all time favorites:
So Halloween is right around the corner, and if you have little boys but don't like what you see on the store racks, you can make an adorable fox, wolf, or bear costume!
I've obviously loved this pattern for my son's Halloween costumes, since I've used it 3 years in a row...and he's only 3.
First of all, they're a unique costume.
He LOVES them, especially the tails.
But for me, having to babysit a Halloween costume is the last thing I want to do, or in the months after having to get it on and off over and over when he's dressing up.
So I love that it's just an easy zip jump suit design with no accessories, extras, or things to loose or have to readjust. Zip it up and be done with the costume!
He can run, play, and even ride a bike in his costume.
You can use the basic pattern to make multiple different costumes, adjusting fabrics and colors for both boys and girls and different seasons!
So grab a pattern, and get sewing!
Happy Halloween!
Hooray! Loved this and my daughter ADORES the fox costume

Thanks for the opportunity -- I had a great time!
I've been terrible about reading blogs lately, but I just got caught up on yours. I don't have enough time to comment on all 10 posts I just read! Anyway, I think you're great. I LOVE the gallery wall. Amazing job on all the furniture. These costumes totally make me think of 1. Where the Wild Things Are and 2. The Little Prince.
