This is another Freezer Paper/ Fabric Paint project. This time I painted the image on white muslin and then sewed it on the shirt, rather than than painting directly on the shirt. Basically painted my own applique.
The shirt is for my brother for his birthday. He loves this cartoonist and this was one he'd mentioned and was easier to duplicate. Here's the original:
I obviously didn't include all the details.
The thin lines I actually painted by hand rather than making tiny, thin freezer paper stencils.
