Happy Creepy Halloween!
11:05 PM
Here's all my little spooky dollar store Halloween projects displayed on the console table my husband and I made with Knock Off Wood plans.
I ended up spending about $10.00 on all these creepy decorations, so pretty cheap. Many of the supplies/ items you probably already have around the house!
So here's the decor items with all the links to back track if you want to make some yourself!
Some other additions without prior posts:
Pumpkins my mom grew, the bright red pumpkin is Cinderella variety if you garden
Rat Silhouettes
Another Martha Stewart project, just print the template here
This mouse on the chocolate bar is a little reference to Roald Dahl's The Witches. I loved that book as a kid. So chubby Bruno Jenkins here guards the chocolate.
I am on the look out for a small glass vial to make the Formula 86 potion to put in there to complete the scene. The book Bruno is sitting on is just another text book covered jr. high style with a brown paper bag.
Above the console table I have my farm window with all our parent's and grandparent's wedding photos. I didn't want to take it down, so I just drew black eyes and fangs on the glass with dry erase marker to make the photos look creepy. Then after Halloween, I'll just wipe the marker off.
THE WHOLE WALL
There's the rat bat in the grapevine birdcage to the right of the table, and a furry spider on the left of the farm window. (My son taped the paper mice and baby pumpkin to the wall on the right side, he wanted to help decorate.)
Happy Halloween and hope you have fun making some affordable creepy little decorations! A lot of these little projects are kid friendly, especially if you have older kids--they could help quite a bit.

Looks great! Too bad the trick or treaters won't get to see it all. They won't even notice. At least you can enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLooks wonderful...I may have to borrow a few of your ideas since my Halloween decor consists of nothing right now :o)
